Adventures of Little is the best cloth diaper emporium around! Not only do we carry a large selection of cloth diapering essentials, we also carry fun stuff to help your babe get the most out of the being little. Your babe will typically spend about 2.5 years in diapers...and experiences so much!  Our goal is to help your family and babe enjoy that time even more. We sell cloth diapers, cloth diapering essentials, body care products for the whole family, laundry aids, and FUN accessories! We love local and support many Albertan and Canadian companies with the same values as ours!

We are a family run e-store based in Calgary, Alberta. As parents to 2 cloth diapered kids, we have a lot of diapering experience.  We enjoying escaping our home on adventures with our kids...usually taking our cloth diapering on the road. The store originally opened in 2009 as Diaper Duty Service and Supplies in Fort McMurray, but after we purchased in 2011 we decided to change it up to something fun and unique. Every day is an adventure as a child...and with every adventure they happen to be in diapers. We see cloth diapering as part of a lifestyle, not a chore. They are just diapers.

Two things set us apart, we love Canadian Made and we love to reduce, reuse and recycle! 

Local: 

Just over 50% of the brands we choose to carry are Made In Canada by Canadians with more on the way. We have 6 brands from Alberta! Approximately 30% of the brands are US Made or designed items. We are very serious when we say we love local! Also, we may be an online store, but we offer a free pick-up option and home consultation to help us get to know our customers better!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle:

Part of the reason we love cloth diapers is due to the reduction of waste, so we try to see that through our business. We don't purchase shopping bags, so please bring your own reusable bag (or box) when you pick up orders. I hoard boxes that I am sent (or family/friends boxes) and re-use them for shipping. Why throw out what can be used again? It's not because we are cheap, we really don't see the point in being wasteful. If there are none available, your order will be shipped in a two use bidegrabable and 100% post-consumer recycled pouch or box. Finally, our handouts and business cards are all made out of 100% post-consumer recycled paper that is made in a sustainable manner.

Sometimes distance is great in a city like Calgary. Please contact Laurie if you'd like to find a mutually agreed upon time and place to meet and pick up your order. Laurie is known to frequent farmer's markets or the central NW for a CSA pick up.

Laurie is our COM (Chief Operating Mom).  She has an environmental background and an addiction to shopping.  She runs most of the show and is the main contact.  Life is hectic with a family, a full-time job and your own store...but there is always time for more. She is passionate about living a sustainable lifestyle (in a stylish way) for herself and her family.  Email is the best way to get in contact with her. Josh is our ROIM (Rest of It Man).  He has an engineering background and handles the COM. He's handsome, funny and real about diapers.  He has his favorite diapers and secretly loves being a retailer.  He's handy and does the odd jobs like making the COM lattes and putting the kids to bed.

Madeleine is our oldest and no longer in any type of diapers. She was our original cloth diaper baby. She's smart, sassy and very helpful.

Charlotte is our youngest and also out of diapers. She's a tough cookie and is growing up way too fast. She's "assertive" and is always up for dancing.

Tyler with Cedar Made Designs is our branding/website guru.  He is a design geek and one of the most creative persons ever known to the human race.  He's based in Vancouver and is a co-founder of Cedar Made Designs.
