FREE LOCAL PICK-UP

We offer free pick up in Calgary. Select Local Pick Up under Shipping Method when checking out. We are located at 2439 Cortina Dr SW.

Pick up times are as follows, but please also check our update section if temporary changes are made by us:

Monday 6 PM to 8 PM
Tuesday 6 PM to 8 PM
Thursday 6 PM to 8 PM
Friday 12:30 PM to 4 PM
Saturday 10:30 AM to 2 PM

We request one day notice for pick up orders, but if you need it sooner, please contact us to arrange as usually it can be done. Please ensure you write down your first choice pickup date and time in the note section when placing your order, especially if its requesting an off time. We will confirm once receiving the order as well as ensure you have the pick up address. We are located in the southwest of Calgary (more West than South). This policy is subject to change without notice.

I do make alternate arrangements as well if these times don't work for you. I can arrange pick-up from the downtown core or meet at another location suitable for both parties, etc.

Please bring a your own bag/box with you to carry away your order as I do not provide bags typically. We moved from Fort McMurray where all non-reusable shopping bags are banned and I really like the idea of using reusable bags or alternatives. Thanks in advance!

PAYMENT

For all orders you can choose to pay online. Our convenient online payment options will accept Visa, American Express, and MasterCard. If you prefer to for your order over the phone, please call us with your card ready. We accept Cash, Certified Cheque, or Money Order, but your order will not ship until we have received the funds. You may pay cash or credit in person at time of pick up if picking up your order. Please select the Cash at Pick-Up under the Payment Method to do this.

We accept only Canadian funds. As of February 4, 2013, the penny will begin being phased out. We will be following the guidelines set-up by the Government of Canada (http://www.fin.gc.ca/1cent/index-eng.asp). Only cash payments and change will be effected.

Personal cheques will NOT be accepted unless you are willing to wait 5-7 business days after we have received the cheque. This is the usual wait time for banks to clear payments.

All custom orders must be prepaid before the item will be made/brought in. If the item is being made, an image will be sent after the item is completed. Orders being brought in special order do not have a guaranteed delivery date.

SHIPPING

Canadian Addresses ONLY at this time.
All ‘IN STOCK’ items will be shipped within 48 hours. We ship only within Canada at this time.
(2-10 days in Canada, $100 insurance included, taxes added upon checkout)

If you would like to purchase additional additional insurance for orders greater than $100, please contact us.

We tend to reuse boxes and minimize packaging. Don't be surprised if your order shows up in an interesting box! We also ship in recycled and reusable envelopes, so feel free to use it yourself!

We now offer FLAT RATE SHIPPING! $8* plus applicable taxes is all that it will cost you :) If the item(s) you are wanting can ship via lettermail, contact us and we will refund the difference. This applies to smaller, lighter items such as covers, Swimmis, Dry Mama nursing pads, etc. Let us know in the note section when ordering or after via email.

If you are pre-ordering an item(s) and choose to have 2 shipments, the flat rate fee will be applied to both shipments.

*Some exclusions apply to the shipping fee. Shipping to Ontario ($9), Quesbec ($9), Nunavat ($12), Northwest Territory ($10) and East Coast Provinces ($10) plus applicable taxes. This policy is subject to change without notice.

EXCLUSIONS

Due to the weight and/or size of product the following products will have an additional charge when shipping:

Claudia's Choices Detergent (3.2 kg size), Rockin' Green Detergent, The Laundry Tarts Detergent (1.8 kg size), Allens Naturally Detergent
Seventh Generation Disposable Diapers

Each item has a Additional Shipping line item when selecting on the product page. If you forget to add it, you will be contacted for payment before it is shipped out. Unfortunately, these items are either quite heavy or bulky for their size and are expensive to ship.

TAXES

All orders are taxed following our Canadian provincial and federal taxation guidelines. Orders shipped to Ontario, New Brunswick and Newfoundland will be charged 13% HST. Orders shipped to British Columbia will be charged 12% HST. Orders shipped to Nova Scotia will be charged 15% HST All taxes will be calculated at checkout, based on the parcel's destination. Orders shipped to Manitoba will be charged 7% PST on top of GST. Orders shipped to Prince Edward Island will be charged 10.5% PST on top of GST. Orders shipped to Saskatchewan will be charged 5% PST on top of GST. All diapers will be rebated applicable PST and PST portions of HST after checkout as our software is unable to do this automatically for provinces that charge PST or HST. We hope to have this issue solved in 2013.

SALES

All sales have a specific start and end time and date. Sales will apply only to in-stock inventory and cannot be applied to orders made before or after the sale time frame. Some sales may exclude specific style/colours/patterns. We cannot apply discounts to previous orders. Please read the details of the sales entirely. Additional discounts cannot be applied to sale items. All sale and clearance items are final sales. This policy is subject to change without notice.

RETURN POLICY

At Adventures of Little, your satisfaction is a priority. All products have a guarantee for quality and workmanship. After receiving your order we recommend only washing one diaper/cover item to ensure you are satisfied with the product. If items are unopened and in original condition we will be happy to offer store credit or exchange them within 30 days from the original purchase date (Note. Sale and Clearance items are final sale). There are NO returns, exchanges, or credit given on used or washed items. Items returned in less than perfect condition will be sent back at the customer’s expense. Custom orders (brought in special or made) can be returned under the same conditions but a 40% stocking charge will be kept by Adventures of Little. A lot of work and extra shipping goes into custom orders.

Please specify if you requesting a refund or plan to place a new order for an exchange credit.

*Returned items purchased with a free shipping offer will have the actual shipping costs deducted from the refund*.

PRICING POLICY

We try very hard to give you the best possible prices available for the items we offer while maintaining the integrity and value of our quality products and services.

Adventures of Little complies with all manufacturers' minimum pricing policies. We will not match prices that are lower then the MSRP.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

While Adventures of Little tries very hard to maintain an accurate inventory count, errors can and sometimes do occur. If for some reason you order an item that is out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. At that time you will be given the option of canceling or modifying your order, or accepting delivery when the item comes back in stock (if applicable).

PRIVACY POLICY

Adventures of Little respects your privacy and does not sell, or share your personal or order information, to or with anyone. Information we collect such as your mailing address, telephone number, or email address are used only for shipping purposes and/or to contact you regarding your purchase. We hate spam as much as you do! We do, on occasion, run specials and send out a newsletter that we feel you may find of interest. If you do not wish to be included in this mailing list, please respond to one such newsletter, and we will remove your name from it immediately.
